English Rose Cleaning Services offers it’s customers a regular service or you can choose to have just a one time deep clean.
We offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or ‘as needed’ schedules. After you have agreed to a regular service we will discuss with you a convenient day/time and from then on that will be your cleaning day. We do not call you before your clean so please mark this day on your calendar.
Monthly cleans actually work out to be every four weeks.
We also find out what time of the day you prefer your clean and endeavor to accommodate you. We prefer to be given a window, i.e. morning or afternoon, since our schedules change weekly and it is not always easy to be at a house around the same time every time. If we know you are expecting us around a certain time and our schedule changes at the last minute we will call you. If our customers work during the day they just tell us to come anytime that is convenient for us.
Move-ins/outs:
We also offer a move-in/out service. We will go in and clean a house after someone moves out or before someone is moving in. This service is charged by the hour and we will clean everything that we can possibly clean so the house will be as clean as it can be when we are through. Apart from all the usual areas we will also clean: the inside of cabinets, inside of refrigerator, inside of oven, sweep the garage etc. ENTRY:
Our customers often give us a key to their house so we can let ourselves in. We give each key a number in order to identify which house it belongs to.
If the customer will be at home then they will let us in. Some clients give us key codes, or let us know where to find a key so we can let ourselves in. PRODUCTS:
We supply all our own products and equipment. Over the years we have tried numerous products and now use the products we have found to be the most effective.
Our kit includes:
•An all-purpose cleaner that is mild enough to use on any surface and will also clean glass
•A scouring powder for use in toilet bowls and sinks (but doesn’t scratch)
•Grease Lightning for use in showers and bathtubs and any other tough dirt
•A dusting spray such as Endust
•White vinegar for cleaning wood floors (diluted with water)
•A mild all-purpose floor cleaner for vinyl floors
Additional supplies we carry in our van and use as necessary include:
•Stainless steel cleaner for cleaning kitchen appliances (there is a small addl. charge for this which will be included in the original estimate)
•Murphy’s oil . We don’t recommend using this as vinegar works much better, but if you would prefer Murphy’s oil, there will be a small additional charge which will be included in the original estimate.
•Furniture polish. You will be asked at the original estimate if you like any furniture polished and an additional charge will apply since polishing furniture takes much longer than just dusting.
•Mildew remover. We only use this when necessary due to the strong odor.
•Pumice stone for removing hard water marks inside a commode.
*We do not use bleach for cleaning bathrooms (with the exception of the mildew remover). The products we use work extremely well, but do not give out too strong a toxic smell and we don’t have to worry about getting bleach on carpets etc. We also bring our own vacuum cleaner, mops, dusters etc.
•Our vacuum cleaner is a commercial upright that has a hose attachment for use on all non-carpeted floors. •The mops we use are rinsed and soaked in a bleach solution every night.
•We also use a ‘Sh-mop’ which is a large flat mop with washable terrycloth covers. This works great on wood floors as it doesn’t make them overly wet. If needed, we can use a dry cover to get up any excess water.
•We use clean rags in every room and even have a different kind of rag and sponge for use in kitchens so you can be assured that we are not using the same items to clean your kitchen that have been previously used on bathrooms. We also use paper towels for cleaning the toilet seat for hygiene purposes and these are thrown in the trash, not in the commode.
•Our rags are washed in a bleach solution after every use
*We like our customer’s houses cleaned the way we clean our own house Details About Our Services:
